Again the Mughal rulers build quite a lot of interesting things here. Wind Palace, Water Palace, City Palace, Amber Fort and of course a gigantic sun clock and other things to determine zodiac signs, ascendents etc. as the king was highly interested in astrology.

Shouldn´t you know already, this thingy was build by a mourning King for his deceased wife. It is completely symmetrical and his wife is to be found in the center of the complex. He was buried aside here and became the only asymmetrical piece.

Also quite amusing... as the kings father didn´t actually approve of his son wasting his whole fortune for a mausoleum the son incarcerated his annoying father in a castle nearby... his cell had of course the best view to the build in progress of the Taj Mahal.

New Delhi. What a city! Nice mosque they´ve down there. Quite a few indian people crazy for blondes. Recently a subway with cute 'How To' and of course the 5 Star Hotel Arsh... which ist pretty close to the German word Arsch which again means 'arse'...
